Spencer and Melissa

Season 2 Episode 21

Melissa: Why would mom go along with this?

Spencer: It wasn't easy for her. She's angry too. She feels betrayed

M: Don't protect her she lied to us

S: My mom said to watch Jason everyday since he was a little kid. I'm sure somewhere in our heart she knew

M: But she should have known too. It's like we don't know who mom and dad are anymore

S: Yea tell me about it. Or should we have anything  they ever told us...pretty sure Alison knew

M: Really? Why?

S: Just she'd say

M: Does anyone else know?

S: No, I don't think so

M: And let's keep it that way. Our family has suffered enough humiliation for 10 life times. I don't wanna be here when mom and dad get home. Um, I'll call you later okay?

S:Yea.

M: Spencer, we'll get through this.

Season 2 Episode 22

M: It wasn't like I went running to the cops

S: You lied to me and then you went in the car with Garret Reynolds and I saw you

M: I didn't want you to worry. I thought that if you knew that I was talking to the police you--

S: Why him?

M: Garrett was Ian's friend and he's been really kind to me since the funeral. He checks on me,He takes me to the doctor when he can, and I needed someone to talk to

S: About what?

M: About Ian. I still don't believe that I married the guy who is capable of killing Alison. The night of the funeral I wanted to talk to you about this. I've been holding on to this..this feeling as something was wrong ever since then

S: So you went to Garrett about it last night?

M: I did but..  I feel it was a mistake. I shared a lot with him. Maybe too much.

S: Like what?

M: Do you remember that summer? It seemed that mom and dad were constantly fighting? The day Alison went missing, it stopped. And I don't think that it was a coincidence. Dad he had a really strange reaction when he heard the news. It was almost he was relieved

S: I'm listening, go on

One night before she disappeared, I came home late. Dad was up. Something has bothering him, but I didn't notice at first.. I was a wreck myself I'd caught Alison flirting with Ian again and I sent texts tt

S: To Ali?

M: Telling her to back the hell off. I told dad everything, I didn't know what to do

S: Did you sign these texts?

M: I didn't have to she knew who these were from

S: Yea so, what did you put it dense*

M: Nothing. He just had this look. He supported me

S: And you told this to Garrett?

M: I never should have opened up to him  I was just vending, trying to sort through my feelings

S: This is not good

M: Why?

S: Let's hope we're the only people we knew about Jason

M: Dad might have been blackmailed

S: What? By who?

M: Alison!

S: Jason found cash, a lot of it. Alison have been and I asked dad about it...the black mail..and he told me he never paid Alison a cent.

M: Do you believe that?

* I couldn't hear what Spencer was saying at that moment.

Sutton and Ethan

Episode 17

Sutton:Your dad has a friend.

Ethan:That's Angie. She comes by here every year to buy horse. She got a barn on the other side of the county

S: She's pretty. So is there a history there?

E:Well, she always has a thing for my dad and he's never been interested. Is that what you call a history?

S:Check out their body language. She wishes there's a history. Mocks Angie Oh, Mr. Whitehorse, you're so rugged and handsome.

E:And he's be saying uh Mocks his dad No offense but uh are you gonna buy a horse or not?

S:How about a moonlit hayride?

E::Uh no, can't do it. Gotta go put the horses in their stalls and and I gotta clip my toenails

S:Anything I can do to attire* you?

E:Yea! Uh, you can buy a horse and go away, come back, try again next year

Su Mi

I usually don't get very sentimental in Autumn, but it's different this year. I gaze up at the Northern sky, the bluest of skies, and it brings back the memory. It happened exactly one year ago with my feet in the water and the sky I once gazed upon resembled the sky I'm gazing upon now. I'm fond of the color blue much like the water at the wharf near home, much like the blue sky, much like the
quilt and pillow in my room, and of course, my blue dress. I loved my house especially- I always felt as if I've lived there in a previous life of mine. It never felt unfamiliar even when I first stepped foot in it. That familiar feeling, I still remember it. But now, whenever I'm in the house, I always feel alone. There was one person I missed more than anything else in the world - the little girl who never hated her sister. Even when angry, her sweet doe eyes looked at me without a word- my dearest little sister, Su-Yeon. I never knew I could miss one person for the longest time. I grew to be very ill without her. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, I couldn't speak, and I wept more than usual. It was truly what it meant to be lonely. I'm sorry I could not be there to save you. Do not forgive me your sister but do not forget her either. Your spirit constantly haunted me but that only made my illness worse. There is a saying here that you bury the one you love deeply in your heart which means you do not forget them until the very day you die. I had buried Su-Yeon deeply in my heart and she will always be there even after death. A year had passed by each time I look at that familiar blue sky, I think of her and long for her. On every windy autumn day, the sadness takes over me but still, I quite like this longing.

Yoon Seul

Episode 6

Yoon Seul: Wooyoung, have you ever wanted to die because of a woman?
(Pause) You don't? Then I'll let you know what it feels like. Not being able to sleep or eat are just the basics. Sleeping and waking up is like hell. You don't know how to become strangers with a man you once loved. You can't let others know, for fear, you might talk bad about him...so you hold everything inside and cry alone. You guys are over, finished...but you constantly think of the memories of being in love...the more and more you try to erase them, the longer the days get. So it's like you're breaking up with them for 365 days. But the thing that hurts the most is that he probably doesn't even think about you anymore. That you're the only one going through this. That person has already forgotten all about you, and is now happy. You really wish you could die, but you don't have the courage....all because you're afraid that you won't ever get to see him again.

Gil Ra Im

Episode 17

The accident you experienced 13 years ago. The accident you can't remember.... At that time, a fireman died saving you. That fireman...was my dad. It's easy for you because you don't remember the incident. But whenever I look at you, I remember my dad. It's become difficult for me to continue seeing you. If I do, then I feel so sorry to my father. Because of you, I've had to live without my dad, on my own, for 13 years. Do you have any idea how difficult those times were?
Earlier you said that you'd be the mermaid instead for me. Please do me a favor. Please disappear from me, like sea foam.

YiJung and WooBin

Episode 18:

YiJung: Song WooBin, you’d better hurry up and get down from there

WooBin: Hey, So YiJung. Why are you staying as my friend?

YJ: What?

WB: Give me a straight answer. Aren’t you embarrassed to be friends with a song of a mafia boss like me?

YJ: Stop talking nonsense. Hurry up and get down from there!

WB: I’m embarrassed myself, so I can only imagine what it must be like for you guys. It’s only because of you guys that I get by. Those from decent homes don’t even consider me human, even I know that

YJ: Song WooMin, why are you

WB: But I…I’m only embarrassed in front of you guys. My boss…the path I’ve got to take… I don’t care what others say or thing, but to you guys… in front of you guys…I’m embarrassed sometimes. That annoys me and I feel like I’m going to die. Do you know? Do you guys even know?!

YJ: You jerk! To you, to you that’s all we’re worth? Do you think we are better than you? If you act like this, what about me? What about us? If, once in a while you’re embarrassed, can’t you let it out in front of your friends? Is that so then, does that really make us friends? Brothers? F4?! Tell me, you bastard!

Others from BOF

Episode 10:  Madam Kang comes over to Jandi’s house to make a deal.

Madam Kang: I believe that when a person is born, they have their separate worlds that they msut carry out. Jun Pyo is a child that must carry out, not just Korean or Asia, but the entire world. And I will do everything in my power to fulfill that role as a mother

Jandi’s mom: Of course you need to do that.

MK: And in order to raise Jandi (grass) well.

Mom: Yes my role as a mother, I will try my hardest to raise JanDi as a good match to master JunPyo…

MK:  That’s not it. Not that, but the grass from the golfing place.

Mom: Excuse me?

MK: Do you know what is needed to grow good grass?

Mom: A fertilizer?

It’s pulling out the weeds. The most important thing is pulling out from the roots those which do more harm than good to the grass and which cannot be left together.

Mom: Are you saying that our JanDi is a weed?

MK: I’m glad you understand what I’m saying. Typically, they kill the weed with poisonous spray but this time…Manager Jeong… This is $300,000. If it isn’t enough, we can give you more…since there’s also my mistake that I was neglecting my son. Manager Jeong. He pulls out a contract.  This is a contract tha you’ll never meet JunPyo again. All you have to do is sign here.

Mom: angry, she got salt and pour it over MK  Leave now!

MK: You’re making a big mistake right now

Mom: Whether it’s a small mistake or big mistake, I’m probably better than you who call someone else’s child a weed and such right in front of the parents. Get out now. Can’t you hear me?! GangSan, what are you doing? Call the police. What are you doing honey? Hurry up and throw them out

MK: Won’t you regret it? I’m not a generous woman who can give you more chances.

Mom: Meeting a woman like you is not something I want to do either!

MK: Let’s go.

Episode 9:

Guy: Yea, okay. Me?? I’m at the skating rink. What do you mean why? I’m playing with some kids. Oppa’s working hard. What? Really? I got it! Wait for me!JunPyo, why don’t we talk as men? That Jandi or Japcho, isn’t she nothing? Does she have something on you?

JP: What did you say?

Guy: Does she have money? You could do better.

JP: What’re you trying to say?

Guy: Don’t you want to just get this over with, and go to a club with me? If we go, there are girls that you can’t even compare to the ones over Jandi and Gaeul. JP hits him. What’s wrong with you?

JP: If you keep on talking s*** about my girlfriend, I’m not gonna let you eat with that mouth anymore, understand?!

Jandi and Madame Kang

Episode 12:  Jandi visits Junpyo’s mom’s office to return the money that her family received

Jandi: I come to return your money
Madam Kang: I heard that your family is going through a tough time. Wouldn’t it be wiser that you keep it? Are you returning it because of useless pride?
JD: It’s not pride but the conclusion my family came to. Please excuse me for everything that happened.
MK: If it wasn’t enough, I can give you more. I’ve watched you and I think you’re pretty good at deals. Fine, let’s make a deal
Jan-di:  Please don’t insult me or my family anymore. I beg you.
MK: So, are you really thinking of going out with my Junpyo?!
Jan-di:  That’s a problem between the two of us.
MK: Fine, let’s be honest with each other. I admit that we have caused problems for you and your family. So please accept that you are not suitable for Junpyo.
JD: Yes, Gu Jun-pyo and I are very different. I admit that. But do you know this? The two of us are in the same place, looking at the same thing. I made him a promise that you would never be my excuse for breaking up with him.
MK: This money…was give because your mom kneeled in front of me. Are you going to lose them all just because of you childish pride? Even with your pride, this is an amazing offer. Are you sure you won’t regret this?
JD: I didn’t know you could put price on pride. Then, how much is your pride?
MK: You are too spunky.
JD: It’d be great if you could change your thought that a commoner’s pride can be sold. And, a person’s heart is not something you can buy with money. You didn’t know that did you? But… now Gu Junpyo knows. I have to go. She leaves.

Jandi and her Mom

Episode 1: Jandi is eating and her mom comes in complaining about her eating.

Jandi’s mom: Hey! Hitting her
Jandi: Mom!
Mom: You must be crazy! Everyone is trying to lose weight, but, what are you doing?
JD: Will you be happy if I die doing such worthless thing?
Mom: Hey! You need to diet and at least have a killer body so the rich boys will look at you. Really! We’re not rich nor do we have a good family background nor are we smart! What do you think you are talking about? Diet is worthless?!  Give me the rice container!
JD: No, I can’t. Right now, surviving is more important than dieting to me.
Mom: Hey! In this day and age, even swimmers must be skinny to become stars! Haven’t you seen Kim YunNa? You’re a young girl. How can you not know the trends? Give me the rice container!
JD: Mom! I said, I don’t want to!
Mom: Give it to me! Hey, you! Hey! Give up the rice container! Hey!!

Trial at the Court at Newton. 1637

Credits and the whole trial

Here is just a part of the trial:

Gov. John Winthrop: Mrs. Hutchinson, you are called here as one of those that have troubled the peace of the commonwealth and the churches here; you are known to be a woman that hath had a great share in the promoting and divulging of those opinions that are the cause of this trouble, and to be nearly joined not only in affinity and affection with some of those the court had taken notice of and passed censure upon, but you have spoken divers things, as we have been informed, very prejudicial to the honour of the churches and ministers thereof, and you have maintained a meeting and an assembly in your house that hath been condemned by the general assembly as a thing not tolerable nor comely in the sight of God nor fitting for your sex, and notwithstanding that was cried down you have continued the same. Therefore we have thought good to send for you to understand how things are, that if you be in an erroneous way we may reduce you that so you may become a profitable member here among us. Otherwise if you be obstinate in your course that then the court may take such course that you may trouble us no further. Therefore I would intreat you to express whether you do assent and hold in practice to those opinions and factions that have been handled in court already, that is to say, whether you do not justify Mr. Wheelwright's sermon and the petition.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: I am called here to answer before you but I hear no things laid to my charge.

Gov. John Winthrop: I have told you some already and more I can tell you.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: Name one, Sir.

Gov. John Winthrop: Have I not named some already?

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: What have I said or done?

Gov. John Winthrop: Why for your doings, this you did harbor and countenance those that are parties in this faction that you have heard of.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: That's matter of conscience, Sir.

Gov. John Winthrop: Your conscience you must keep, or it must be kept for you.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: Must not I then entertain the saints because I must keep my conscience.

Gov. John Winthrop: Say that one brother should commit felony or treason and come to his brother's house, if he knows him guilty and conceals him he is guilty of the same. It is his conscience to entertain him, but if his conscience comes into act in giving countenance and entertainment to him that hath broken the law he is guilty too. So if you do countenance those that are transgressors of the law you are in the same fact.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: What law do they transgress?
Gov. John Winthrop: The law of God and of the state.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson:  In what particular?

Gov. John Winthrop: Why in this among the rest, whereas the Lord doth say honour thy father and thy mother.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: Ey Sir in the Lord.

Gov. John Winthrop: This honour you have broke in giving countenance to them.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: In entertaining those did I entertain them against any act (for there is the thing) or what God has appointed?

Gov. John Winthrop: You knew that Mr. Wheelwright did preach this sermon and those that countenance him in this do break a law.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: What law have I broken?

Gov. John Winthrop: Why the fifth commandment.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: I deny that for he (Mr. Wheelwright) saith in the Lord.

Gov. John Winthrop: You have joined with them in the faction.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: In what faction have I joined with them?

Gov. John Winthrop: In presenting the petition.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: Suppose I had set my hand to the petition. What then?

Gov. John Winthrop: You saw that case tried before.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: But I had not my hand to (not signed) the petition.

Gov. John Winthrop: You have councelled them.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: Wherein?

Gov. John Winthrop: Why in entertaining them.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: What breach of law is that, Sir?

Gov. John Winthrop: Why dishonouring the commonwealth, Mrs. Hutchinson.
Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: But put the case, Sir, that I do fear the Lord and my parents. May not I entertain them that fear the Lord because my parents will not give me leave?

Gov. John Winthrop: If they be the fathers of the commonwealth, and they of another religion, if you entertain them then you dishonour your parents and are justly punishable.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: If I entertain them, as they have dishonoured their parents I do.

Gov. John Winthrop: No but you by countenancing them above others put honor upon them.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: I may put honor upon them as the children of God and as they do honor the Lord.

Gov. John Winthrop: We do not mean to discourse with those of your sex but only this: you so adhere unto them and do endeavor to set forward this faction and so you do dishonour us.

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: I do acknowledge no such thing. Neither do I think that I ever put any dishonour upon you.

Gov. John Winthrop: Why do you keep such a meeting at your house as you do every week upon a set day?

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: It is lawful for me to do so, as it is all your practices, and can you find a warrant for yourself and condemn me for the same thing? The ground of my taking it up was, when I first came to this land because I did not go to such meetings as those were, it was presently reported that I did not allow of such meetings but held them unlawful and therefore in that regard they said I was proud and did despise all ordinances. Upon that a friend came unto me and told me of it and I to prevent such aspersions took it up, but it was in practice before I came. Therefore I was not the first.

Gov. John Winthrop: ...By what warrant do you continue such a course?

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: I conceive there lies a clear rule in Titus that the elder women should instruct the younger and then I must have a time wherein I must do it.

Gov. John Winthrop: All this I grant you, I grant you a time for it, but what is this to the purpose that you Mrs. Hutchinson must call a company together from their callings to come to be taught of you?

Mrs. Anne Hutchinson: If you look upon the rule in Titus it is a rule to me. If you convince me that it is no rule I shall yield.

GaEun and YiJung

Episode 6:

GaEun: Why do you keep following me?
YiJung: It will be too much for you. Even though your legs look strong enough. So, should we ocntinue our conversation from last night?
GE: What conversation?
YJ: Is it true that Geun JanDi likes another guy?
GE: When did I ever say such thing?
YJ: Who is it?
GE: Stop saying nonsense and just paddle correctly!
YJ: It’s probably some low-life. I know a little about women and Geum Jandi’s type is attracted to bad boys. Guys like that like to leech on strong women like Jandi and suck everything out of them
GE: Nonsense! That guy might be Jandi’s soul mate.
YJ:Soul mate. That’s why it doesn’t work for them. Do you actually believe in such a thing?
GE: Of course! Definitely. Playboys like you won’t understand, but that one person does exist in this universe.
YJ: So, have you met yours GaEul? Your soul mate?
GE: Not yet, but if he appears, I’m not letting him go. Because if you lose that person, you will eternally regret it.
YJ: What are you doing just sitting there? I have been paddling this whole time alone.

Jandi and JiHoo

Episode 6:

Jandi: Is it true? It’s just a rumor, right? It’s just a false report, right? I’m sorry.
JiHoo: I guess you just knew her better than me. He is a man who fit SeoHyun.
JD: That’s not true! There’s no way for it to be true! Please be happy. Tell me that you will be. Because if you are unhappy, then I’ll be unhappy as well.
JH: How could I not like a girl like you?

Episode 1: Jandi has been thrown eggs and flour at by her rich classmates. Now she is letting her anger out.

Jandi: Surrender? You wish. I say Jandi, and you think it’s grass for you to walk all over? You picked on the wrong person. Have you guys ever eaten dough soup that has been cooked with tears? Have you ever seen a free pass to the public bath house? Commoners are nothing if not unyielding and persevering! Do you not know that!? How many eggs are these? These idiots don’t even know that flour is gold. Do they wanna die?! So wasteful. How many pancakes are these! Seriously.
JiHoo: Yawns.
JD: Oh my! Who’s there?
JH: You’re really noisy every time I see you. Do you know how to make pancakes?
JD: What?
JH: Pancakes
JD: All you have to do is mix flour, eggs, milk, and sugar and kneed it and fry it. Just like the Korean pancake.
JH: That’s simple. Looks at her. Pulls out a handkerchief and wipes her. Hands it to her
JD: Your handkerchief.
JH: I don’t need it.
JD: I’ll return it to you next time.
JH: I’m not going to come here anymore. It’s no longer quiet, thanks to someone.

Jandi

Episode 8: Jandi founds out that JunPyo is in the hospital.

Phone rings. I don’t want to be in a bad mood because of you, I’m in a really good mood… YiJung sunbae? What? What did you say? This can’t be. This all must be a lie. Why, all of a sudden? What happened? Goo JunPyo, wake up! Why are you like that? I have lots of things to tell you and to fight with you about. And lots of things to explain to you. What are you doing? I am the one who should apologize. Goo JunPyo, I was wrong. I lied to you. Last time.. I have told you yet, those words. I regretted it, after I let you go. Goo JunPyo. Goo JunPyo wake up! I think I can tell you the words you’ve wanted to hear, but how am I going to tell you if you’re like this? Wake up!

Episode 13: Jandi hasn’t seen Gu JunPyo after he left, so now she is in front of a camera recording herself of what to say to her.

JD: Ahh ahh ah. (clears throat) Goo Junpyo can you hear me? I’ve been thinking of you every day since you’ve been gone but how come I can only remember the times we fought? But isn’t it strange… even though I can only think of times we fought… Whenever I think of you I smile. Goo Junpyo, you’re doing well right? When are you going to come fight with me?

JanDi and JunPyo

Episode 8

JunPyo: Where are you going this late?
JanDi: I’m going to practice. Why?
JP: Do You want to win that badly?
JD: Well we don’t have a choice
JP: We? Why does it have to be JiHoo? If it wasn’t JiHoo…
JD: Gu JunPyo
JP: Its not too late; just sayone thing. Say that you like me, just once.
JD: Sorry. I’m sorry.
JP: Do you know what you’re doing right now? The great Goo JunPyo is begging you.
JD: I can’t help it.
JP: How did I end up liking a girl like you? You just lost your last chance. It doesn’t matter how much you cry tomorrow because I’m not going to watch after you anymore.
JD: That’s what I wanted.
JP: Right. That is Geum JanDi. Fine, let’s go as far as we can.

Episode 6: Junpyo and Jandi are by the beach and has a table set up for them there. JunPyo undresses. Jandi nervously tells him to cut it out. Laughing at her reaction, JunPyo calls her a dummy and heads toward the water in his swim trunks.

Jandi: How did you do this
JunPyo: Didn’t I tell you? Every day you can enjoy the things you can’t even imagine. Jandi, you’re shocked. Is it so simple to impress you?
JD:Is this very simple?
JP: If you’re done being mushy, let’s get to the point. He undresses
JD: What?....The point? What are you doing now? Ddd….don’t rake you clothes off! Is he up to something? You! Don’t take off your clothes! If you do I’ll kill you!! You! If you take off your pants, too..I’ll really kill you! Please don’t take them off! Pervert! I told you not to take them off!
JP: Idiot!
JD: Come here perv.  You want to die? Scaring people like that!..... Goo JunPyo, don’t move. Wait there.
JP: What’s wrong?
JD: Don’t move!
JP: What is it? What’s wrong?
JD: There….there’s a snake by your leg
JP: What?!
JD: By your leg…snake!
JP: Ahhh!! I really hate snakes!
JD: Run fast, Goo JunPyo!  Continue running! HAHAHA!
JP: What?
Go on! Run farther! You’re doing well!
JP: Aishhh!

Episode 14: Jandi traveled all the way to Moscow to see Junpyo. And now they finally have a chance to talk. JunPyo is going to break up with her.
JD: Hi. I came.
JP: Yeah. What brings you all the way here?
JD:  I was worried after hearing the news about your father.
JP: Thanks…so.. you came all this way to say that? I guess you’re getting along well now.
JD: What?
JP: As you can see, I’m doing great and as you know, I’m very busy. Now you know, you can just go. No need to worry about how I’m doing. What? Do you have any more to say?
JD: Really…is this how you feel?
JP: What do you want? By any chance “I’m sorry” “Forgive me,” “I’ll be back so just wait for me.” Were you expecting those words?
JD: Why are you being like this?
JP: I’ve started to come to terms with reality.
JD: I get it, now, I finally get it. You pretending to not know me, not wanting to see me… it was all real. I am…I am….
JP: A stain I want to erase.
JD: You’re cruel Goo JunPyo. Really cruel…
JP: No. I was always like this. I was only pretending I wasn’t.
JD: Take care
JP: Just worry about yourself He leaves

Ji Young and Jun Woo

Episode 33

Ji Young:Thank you for saying that
Jun Woo: Don’t misunderstand. I’m just telling the truth. You are dead to me.
JY: Yes, now I know how you feel. It will be hard to forgive me. I made your life miserable. It would be shameless of me to ask for forgiveness. IDK how I became like this either. At times I want to throw this life away but I can’t because I’m already running like crazy, throwing it away is like death to me. If you can’t forgive me, just pity me
JW: I decided to be thankful to you from now on. Thanks to your decision. I was able to find out what is special to me in this world. I told you before, this is the life you chose. Just like when you left me, take responsibility for your actions until the end. Just like you said whether it’s forgiveness or pity, I will never tell anyone about your past.

Jin Joo and In Kyung

Episode 35: Jin Joo found out about the gift that In Kyung gave Kang Sunbae for his birthday present.

In Kyung: Did you wait for me until now? I came by just in case. Should we order tea first? Excuse me. Give me espresso double shot. What do you want?
Jin Joo: I'm fine.
IK: Give her an orange juice. I cans stay only 20 minutes so get to the point.
JJ: I'm returning this. Take it back
IK: I gave this to Kang Sunbae, not you. Did Kang Sunbae tell you to return it?
JJ:No, I'm returning it on my own
IK: With what right?
JJ: I'm his wife. I can't just watch a women give a present like this to my husband.
IK: Jin Joo, I'm giving this advice because I feel sorry for you. But men don't like this. I think you are mistaken that you own a guy when you get married but does Kang Sunbae know you are doing this?
JJ:What?
IK: What's wrong with this present? I gave this present purely to a senior whom I respect and as a colleague. So why are you returning it?
JJ: Pure? Then what is this? You want him to find a life that is right for him? Then are you saying he is living a life that is not right for him right now? What did you mean by this?
IK: Do you have a guilty conscience?
JJ: Don't say that. You told me this before. That me and Ahjussi don't match each other. Didn't you write this with that intention?
IK: It's up to you how you think of it.
JJ:I'll ask you again. You like my husband right? You like him right? You wrote this card and gave this present to him so I would see it right? Answer me!
IK: Kang Sunbae has a tiring life
JJ: Cha In Kyung!
IK: Let's stop it. A person's level can come down anytime. If you were upset I'll apologize.
JJ: Can a smart and educated women do this? There is a lot of guys out there for you even if it's not my husband. Please don't come between my and him. Whenever I think about you, my heart hurts.
IK: Do you know how you look right now? You look like a child hanging on bars. You want to go up but you lack the ability. If you go down all the times you spent hanging goes to waste.. I eel sorry for you. Then excuse me first.

Jin Joo

Episode 24: In search for her father, Jin Joo appeared into a TV show and shares what she wanted to say to him.

Jin Joo: Father…I’ve never called you that before. I never thought I’d call you that. I’m Jin Joo. I saw you when I was one year old. Time has passed and now I’m an adult. I even married a Korean man. I don’t even remember what you look like. Even though we meet, we wouldn’t know each other. Even if it’s like that I still want to see you. I think I know what my father is like, even if I don’t know him. You still remember me right? When I was little you would sing me lullabies and you gave me the name Jin Joo. Didn’t you promise you’d come back? My mom is still abiding that promise. Even if you’re really busy, even if you have another family, please remember that you have a daughter trying really hard to find you. Even if it’s only one time, please meet with me. My mom is really sick now, in the next 2 years she might even go blind. Mom’s wish is to see you, when she still can see. Mom’s been waiting for you her whole life. Before mom loses her sight, please meet her once. She won’t hate you. She doesn’t wish for anything else; even if it’s only one time, please let us meet. I’m begging you. Please father, I’m begging you. Please, please… Please, father. Please.
